Teach at the Beach 2023

A very exciting agenda is taking shape for the Teach at this Beach Workshop! This is our signature event of the year and we hope you will join us. We are returning to a completely in-person format this year. We will visit the Jersey shore the way it would look if there were no summer homes, or development; just sand dunes and beaches - a ten mile stretch of barrier island. We will meet at Island Beach State Park's Forked River/Emily DeCamp Interpretive Center for a day of hands on activities.
The event will be from 9 am-2 pm and includes a buffet lunch.
The program will have multiple sessions that are geared towards educators teaching grades 4-12+ in both formal and informal settings.

Teach at the Beach is a rain or shine event. Some of the sessions will have outdoor components so come dressed for the weather.
Finally, help us reduce plastic waste at the workshop by bringing a reusable water bottle with you.
