Experimental Engineering Design and ROVs
Are you always teaching STEM activities and never getting the chance to really enjoy one? Are you interested in seeing the behind-the-scenes happenings of a working aquarium? If so, then join NJMEA Educators for a winter workshop at Jenkinson’s Aquarium on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. In Using Experimental Engineering Design to Teach Underwater Exploration, participants will learn about the challenges researchers and industry professionals face when working and exploring under water, then brainstorm to develop solutions to these challenges. You will collaborate with your colleagues to design and build a remotely-operated underwater vehicle (ROV) that you will operate in an aquarium tank!
Space is limited so sign up now! Deadline for registration is Feb. 14.
Fee: Members $20, Non-members $25
